About Our School
Bunker Hill Middle School
Bunker Hill Middle School proudly serves over 500 students as a cornerstone of educational excellence within the district. Our school is home to specialized programs that provide unique learning opportunities, ensuring that every student can find their path to success. At the heart of our educational philosophy are the 6 Pillars of Character, which guide our students in developing integrity, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship in all aspects of their lives.

Our school motto, "Our Bark Leaves a Mark," reflects our commitment to making a positive impact on our students and community. We recognize that every action and interaction matters, and we celebrate this belief through our Pride Paw Goals program. This building-wide initiative acknowledges individual student behavior while bringing our entire school community together in celebration of collective achievements. When students reach these goals, the entire building shares in the success, fostering a sense of unity and shared accomplishment.
Academic excellence and student support are fundamental to our mission. We believe deeply in growth and provide comprehensive support systems to ensure every student succeeds. Our Academic Recovery program helps students who need additional assistance to get back on track, while our Prep Club offers enrichment opportunities for students to advance their learning. These programs are made possible by our dedicated staff, who go above and beyond to support student learning and create an environment where every child can thrive.
The strength of Bunker Hill Middle School extends far beyond our building walls, thanks to our incredible community support. Our parents and local partnerships play a vital role in our success, creating a network of support that enriches our students' educational experience. We are especially grateful for our active Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), whose dedicated fundraising efforts ensure that our students are celebrated and have access to enhanced learning opportunities and experiences throughout the year.
Service and citizenship form a cornerstone of our school culture. We believe that giving back to our community is not just important—it's essential to developing well-rounded, compassionate citizens. Through various service learning projects and community engagement initiatives, our students learn the value of contributing to something greater than themselves, preparing them to be positive leaders in their future endeavors.
